Brief description of the institution:
The "Sœurs de la Providence" hospital is a social work owned by the congregation of the Sisters of Providence, located in Kouvé in the diocese of Aného, operating in the health district of Yoto in the maritime region of Togo. It is a Catholic confessional center that welcomes patients without distinction of nationality, race, religion, or sociocultural situation, in order to promote the health and well-being of the populations. It has a humanitarian and non-profit purpose. The "Sœurs de la Providence" hospital in Kouvé opened in 1986 and operated as a nutritional recovery center for severely malnourished individuals. To meet the unmet health needs of the area and promote the well-being of the populations, the center has gradually expanded its range of services to become a Medical-Social Center.
Currently, the "Sœurs de la Providence" hospital in Kouvé offers the following services:
- Reception service (external consultations and emergency admissions)
- General medicine service
- General pediatrics service
- Nutrition service
- Specialized service for the management of HIV and tuberculosis
- Modern maternity unit with ultrasound unit
- Medical biology service
- Hygiene, vaccination, and sanitation service
- Nutritional recovery center for severely malnourished individuals
- Social service
In addition to these permanent services, the "Sœurs de la Providence" hospital organizes monthly specialized consultations in cardiology, gynecology, mental health, stomatology, diabetology through specialist doctors accredited by the Togolese government.

Professional qualification: Gynecologist-Surgeon, Anesthetist, Pediatrician, and Cardiologist.

Minimum stay: 1 month
Maximum stay: 1 year
Vaccinations required: Yellow fever and malaria prophylaxis.
